Responses from the HOA and payment processing may be severely delayed from November until after Christmas in December due to lack of available HOA personnel during the holiday season.
There were no volunteers for the HOA President position during the called October meeting. The previous HOA President will temporarily remain for the rest of the term. More info will be provided on the yearly newsletter in 2023.

We are a medium-sized HOA located in THE closest neighborhood to Holloman Air Force Base. We're also very close to the Alamogordo White Sands Regional Airport which is just down the road from our neighborhood. Streets named Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Enterprise, and Lindberg connecting to Airport Road are mandatory Desert Villa HOA members.

Early-Pay Discount has returned to its original pre-covid deadline date of March 31st 2022 (3/31/2022).
Late fees for properties who have fully paid all owed HOA dues as of December 31st of last year (12/31/2021) will not be assessed any late penalties until April 1st 2022 (4/1/2022) to allow time for early-pay discount payments.
If you have made a confirmed payment plan with the HOA before 12/31/2021 last year the agreed date shall remain the deadline for your payments.
If you are facing financial difficulties you must make confirmed contact the HOA immediately to organize a payment plan with the least amount of fees possible, debt collections and legal actions are starting to be processed starting 1/1/2022. Lawyer fees and legal fees cannot be reversed once they have been fully processed. Lawyer fees in 2021 were $250 per hour and are predicted to increase this year due to inflation!

This private Basketball Court and private Tennis Court are available for association members who are current on their HOA dues. There are four basketball hoops. Both courts are fenced and will help prevent your ball from escaping. This area is monitored by security cameras.
This private playground is open for residents in our association who are current on their HOA dues. There are a dozen rides for children to enjoy, including a slide and swing-set. This area is monitored by security cameras.
